Rising environmental awareness among the younger generation and bringing them closer to nature are two key tools for a better world.

As a result, environmental education is a pillar of paramount importance in our daily work at Birding Tarifa and we have designed a work programme focused on transferring knowledge with a practical approach and ensuring an enjoyable experience all in all.

Even though many of our activities such as hiking, guided visits, birdwatching and whale-watching, etc, take place in a number of locations, Birding Tarifa manage an estate situated in Facinas (Tarifa), where we conduct our environmental education workshops. With over 14 hectares and totally surrounded by nature, in our centre you can enjoy the best scientific bird ringing sessions, gymkhanas, birdwatching, numerous environmental workshops and a wide choice of activities available to schools, associations and other groups interested in visiting us.
