Since 2012, Birding Tarifa have specialized in running daily birdwatching tours from Tarifa, The Strait and other locations around the Cádiz province.

Tarifa, our home, is without a doubt one of the best places in Europe for birdwatching. Even though there clearly are countless reasons as to why we operate in the Strait, there is no question the migration of millions of birds between Europe and Africa lies at the core and keep feeding our passion every day.
In addition, Tarifa and the surrounding areas such as la Janda, Parque Natural Los Alcornocales, Barbate, Vejer, Medina, Bahía de Cádiz, Doñana and Morocco, just 14 kms away, offer a unique opportunity for birdwatchers all year round.
Birding Tarifa provide daily birdwatching trips, with a choice of half day trips (5 hours) or full day trips (9 hours), carefully designed and perfected upon our direct local experience to make sure we offer you the best. There is no need to worry about your birding skills or experience level, we fully adapt to every one of our clients, be it an absolute novice or a seasoned birdwatcher, so ensuring a really enjoyable birding experience in all cases.

- Optical gear: your guide will always carry a professional quality spotting scope. If you need binoculars, please let your guide know in advance and Birding Tarifa will provide them.

Recommendations:
- Bring the binoculars and spotting scope you usually use
- Sun screen
- Cap or hat
- Water
- During the full-day trips we recommend to stop by a local restaurant for lunch. We always do this in places that offer good value, homemade and good quality food (with vegetarian and vegan options). If the clients prefer, there is the option of bringing your own lunch picnic with you.
- Comfortable and adequate shoes and clothing. Pack some extra layer in case of sudden weather changes.
