Manuel Morales
CEO and leading Guide
Graduated in Environmental Sciences, ornithologist and expert bird ringer by EBD (Doñana Biological Station), Manuel lives in the Strait of Gibraltar since 2009. His passion for traveling, birds and nature conservation led him to start up Birding Tarifa in 2012, a personal project of birdwatching and nature tourism and conservation in one of the best places in the world to enjoy the bird migration phenomenon. Manuel is also closely involved as a volunteer and nature conservationist as part of various associations and Non-profit organizations. His work in nature conservation and environmental education, as well as his commitment to all environmental issues, make Manuel a key figure in the field of ornithology.
Marce Romo
Operations Manager
Marce Works as wildlife guide and environmental educator for Birding Tarifa since 2014. Graduated in Environmental Sciences, she is passionate about nature conservation and actively takes part in bird ringing projects and bird surveys run by EBD (Biologial Station of Doñana) and SEO Birdlife. Apart from her work as a guide, Marce is our operations manager at Birding Tarifa, in charge of managing reservations and the logistics. Her knowledge of the birds and her commitment to the environment are a valuable asset to all our projects, which translates in an overall more enriching and fun experience for our clients.
Víctor Porras
Guide and Expert in Tourism
Raised right next to the mudflats of the Bay of Cadiz, Victor developed a total fascination for all aspects of natural history from a very early age. A lifelong birder, and a tourism professional graduated in the University of Cadiz, he has extensive travel industry experience leading wildlife activities during the ten years he lived in Ireland, Germany and Poland. Victor joined Birding Tarifa in 2017, guiding day trips and tours in Spain and Morocco, looking after travel operations and participating in numerous field surveys. He is also a passionate conservationist, taking an active role in several nature conservation projects as a volunteer.
