My wife & I spent 4 days of birding around the Tarifa area in the Spring guided by Manuel and Victor. What a brilliant tour. They are first class guides, with excellent knowledge of species, habitats and locations and impart that knowledge freely. Conservation and bird welfare are their genuine concerns and we wish them success with their endeavours. My wife and I enjoyed a day’s guided birding with Birding Tarifa in mid-March this year (2024).  It was everything that we had hoped for and more.  Our guide Victor fully appreciated what we wished to achieve, and he then went out of his way to ensure that the day worked as we had wanted.  Victor took us to no fewer than five or six different locations in order to gave us a varied and successful day: excellent views of migrant and resident raptors, complemented by some time looking at shore birds and song birds, and finally the remarkable bald ibis colony some tens of km from Tarifa.  We came away having seen far more than we expected and with a far better understanding of migration; in addition, we got valuable insights into how experienced birdwatchers actually look at birds and go about identifying them. In short, a very enjoyable and rewarding day.  Victor proved to be a superb guide: hugely knowledgeable, passionate about birds, an excellent communicator – and great company.

Manuel guided me for a day in the Cadiz area, driving me in his vehicle.  He is a great guide, with top field skills, and very knowledgeable about the birds and  about the conservation issues on his patch. I have recently attended a birding day with Birding Tarifa guide Victor around the Medina Sidonia area.  The event began with meeting at a pre arranged location. As soon as I arrived I met Victor who was extremely friendly and welcoming.  I instantly felt at ease and was provided with refreshments and issued with excellent binoculars.  I was then transported to the local area where I was shown an incredible wide range of birds from small Buntings to Spanish Eagles.  I was educated on the habitats, identifying markers, calls and much, much more. This was a fantastic wildlife experiences.  Victor is an experienced guide with exceptional knowledge and passion for wildlife. Buscaba asesoramiento para unos prismáticos y me aconsejaron perfectamente. Manuel me recomendó unos Focus Mountain que para ser relativamente baratos ofrecen muy buena visión además de estar diseñados para su uso en la naturaleza (lluvia, polvo) 💯% recomendables
